Family support means a great deal when it comes to my business at Cathedral Wealth Management, and as you may already know I am an avid supporter of local charities, so when my Mother-in-Law, Heather Brookes, decided to take part in the Snowdrop Walk 2019, a 5-mile walk for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, I was in full support!
This brilliant family led event, held at Arundel Castle is an annual event, which takes walkers all around the beautiful Swanbourne Lake and over the very hilly grounds of Arundel Castle, Heather had done nothing like this before, and was inspired by her friends to take part.
Heather is part of the Chichester Monday Darts League, the league support The Sussex Snowdrop Trust once a year by hosting a darts competition and raffle for around 80 people, and raise around £500 on the night.
Heather said, “We raised so far £400 for our walk, and to do it for the Snowdrop Foundation, which is a wonderful local charity supporting local children with life threatening illnesses, was very rewarding.”
Over 200 people walk at various times, with a route for children of 1-mile and for the adults 5-miles. If you wanted to take part in 2020, keep an eye on their website for more information.
Well done to Heather Brookes, Chris Warne and Yvonne Wallbridge dubbed the “Chytrio” for raising this money.
