If anyone knows Brad Ainsworth of Cathedral Wealth Management, Financial Planners in Chichester, then you will know Brad is always up for a challenge! Especially one that is of a fundraising nature.
On Saturday 21st September 2019, Brad Ainsworth from Cathedral Wealth Management, along with Andy Gilbert from St James’s Place Wealth Management, completed a 30km walk over the South Downs Way.
The South Downs Walkers completed 47,165 steps! Despite the hot weather, one damaged knee and one dodgy hip, the guys managed the walk in 7 hours and 40 minutes, which is good going. Their fantastic fund-raising efforts will go towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, which supports over 280,000 young people every year, 68,000 of which are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Just Giving page is still open for donations.
Brad was due to complete the 50km challenge but a terrible accident took place at the office of Cathedral Wealth Management, a fire on one of the hottest days of the year! and Brad suffered third degree burns on his feet and his legs. Thankfully the office was saved and all was well in the end but Brad decided to compete in the 30km route instead.
