Kingsham Primary School will be receiving an inspirational visit from renowned professional athlete, Kirsty Way on the 5th of November 2021. The aim of Kirsty’s visit is to help pupils move forward into 2022 after a very challenging 2 years that will have created some mental health issues.
As a school, Kingsham aspire to continually improve and develop and provide an interesting and inspiring curriculum. They work with Chichester University in a variety of ways to enhance the opportunities available to their pupils. Inviting world renowned scientists and artists to work with the children are just two ways that the school endeavours to show pupils the opportunities that are available to them.
In order to help them reach their goal, Brad Ainsworth, Director at Cathedral Wealth Management in Chichester, West Sussex, stepped up and donated £500 to the children at Kingsham Primary School. “So many of us have been affected in some way with mental health, especially over the last 2 years, by enabling our children to understand mental health issues and its importance is very close to my heart” said Brad.
The school aimed to reach £1200 in order to host a day of inspiration for the pupils who, like all of us have been tested emotionally. The funds will also enable the school to upgrade play areas and so bring much needed fun and laughter to the school.
