My Career in financial services began 20 years ago. As Director of Cathedral Wealth Management I want to provide a legitimate, client focused financial service. This helps my clients to grow and protect their wealth without fear of mis-selling or hidden agendas.

Financial services will always be about trust and integrity. Understanding a clients’ individual needs and how to improve their financial wellbeing is what we believe sets us apart from the competition. We truly understand our clients’ needs and objectives and regularly meet with them to help improve their wealth. Even if my clients’ circumstances do not change, rules and regulations do, therefore regular review meetings are paramount to our relationship. We are not just here to see you once!

I am recognised as one of the Top 100 financial advisers in the UK for 2021 and have won six individual and Business awards over the last six years:

Outside of work, I am an avid hiker and you can regularly see me and my dog Snowy walking the South Downs.  I am a proud Father of 3 boys and am married to my soulmate, Emma.

Emma Allen

Practice Manager

I am the Practice Manager at Cathedral Wealth Management. I joined Brad’s team in January 2018 and have over 10 years of experience working in the financial industry.

During this time, I have earned the St. James’s Place Gold Standard Accreditation for Partnership Support Staff.  This reflects not only my commitment to Cathedral Wealth Management, but my ability to perform my duties above and beyond the standard administration of my role. 

In my spare time I like socialising with friends and family and spending time with my husband and two daughters.

Chris Brooke-Jones

Financial Adviser

I have recently graduated from Cardiff University, where I studied Mathematics and left with a BSc (Hons).

It is during this time that I met with Brad and his team at Cathedral Wealth Management and quickly realised that the need for financial advice is paramount to a successful life.

Unfortunately, members of my family have experienced bad and mis-sold financial advice.  This led me to my decision to right this wrong and take my financial exams, which qualifies me to offer holistic financial advice not only to my loved ones, but to others wanting to protect their financial future.

After joining Cathedral Wealth Management, Brad offered to invest in my future of becoming a financial adviser. I have since been through the St. James’s Place Academy, where I learnt about every area of financial services that apply to my clients

When I am not studying or working, my passions are Rugby, Cricket and Golf.

Andrew Hara

Financial Adviser

I am relatively new to working directly in financial services, but you might recognise me from the restaurant I owned in Chichester – the Crate and Apple on Westgate.

After many years running several successful businesses in a variety of sectors, I have come to realise the importance of great financial planning and am passionate about what this can do for people’s lives.

Working with Cathedral Wealth Management was an easy choice for me as our goals are aligned, with our top priorities being our commitment to providing our clients with outstanding service, always going above and beyond wherever possible.

I will be completing my exams to become a financial adviser within the St James Place Academy at the end of this year (2021). I am looking forward to meeting lots of new people and offering my clients true value, honesty and integrity, to develop professional lifetime relationships.

When I’m not studying or working hard you will find me spending time with my amazing wife, mountain biking or if its windy I’ll be at the beach Windsurfing or Kitesurfing.

Julia Shepherd

Financial Adviser

Julia has a background in tourism, working overseas in the adventurous travel industry. She has worked as a College lecturer and as a Director of a community interest company running Forest School sessions for families, children, vulnerable women and with schools.

Julia will focus on womens’ wealth and wellbeing.

“I am looking to use my experience, empathy and communication skills to reach a community of people who have been traditionally underserved by the Financial Services industry. I would like to help women of all ages and stages live a full and fun life without the worry of the what ifs?”

Julia’s spare time is used to create as many different experiences as possible for her four children and to grow flowers in the garden.

Becky Sedgwick

Executive Assistant

My role at Cathedral Wealth Management is Administrator. I joined the team in August 2020.

I am normally your first point of contact on the telephone. My responsibility is to take care of our clients’ diary, and to book sufficient time slots for your needs as requested by yourself. It’s important to me to take great care in our client’s requests, to ensure client satisfaction is of the highest standard. My previous roles in Reception and Administration have given me great experience and desire to provide the best of care.

In my spare time I love to enjoying days out with my Fiancé and 2 Children, we enjoy Nature Walks, Camping and active fun family days out together.

Trish Lee

Administrator

I joined Cathedral Wealth Management in June 2021 as an Administrator. My role is to ensure all information for clients is accurately produced and presented to the paraplanners and financial advisors in a timely manner.

I bring a diverse range of skills to the team having previously worked in Aviation and more recently in Education.

Outside of work I spend time with my Husband, children and grandchildren. Having recently moved to the coast I love to walk the dog on the beach and spend time paddle boarding.

Emma Shepherd

Marketing and Events Coordinator

I joined the Cathedral Wealth Management team 2 years ago, coming from a very different background to the financial world. My role at Cathedral Wealth Management is to arrange our client communications via our E-briefing service and more recently manage our Social Media platforms.  I am entrusted to make sure that the communication we send to our clients is inciteful, accurate and up to date.

I also arrange our many client events which range from our flagship Crouchers Dinner, to Grand Prix, wine tasting and Goodwood hospitality events.

When I am not working, I love being with my family and friends, being involved in the local community and spending time at the gym.

Bob Ainsworth

Paraplanner

Through the years I have taken on different roles within the banking industry and the Inland Revenue, I also completed a Business, Law and Finance degree at Leicester University. This opened up opportunities in education. A few years ago I retired from teaching as the Director of Sixth Form for a large secondary school. Retirement has its merits and opportunities and with time on my hands, I qualified as a Paraplanner after taking numerous examinations and I now work for my son. He is most definitely the boss!
