The Ukraine Crisis Appeal

At the time of writing this article, we are now on day 27 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, with a reported 19,000 deaths and approximately 6.5million people displaced inside Ukraine. In addition, 3.2million have fled into neighbouring countries such as Poland, Hungary and Romania.

Every time I turn the TV or radio on, as many of you do, I see the devastation this has caused to children and families, with many children crossing the border unaccompanied and open to all kinds of exploitation. Families walking incredible distances with little or no food and water whilst their men stay and fight for their country.

Whenever humanitarian crisis hits, you also see the good that happens too. So many individuals and companies pull together to support with vital supplies and fundraising. This includes small donations that one person can afford, to huge fundraising activities. Every single penny raised helps to alleviate suffering.

One of my many roles as a Director at Cathedral Wealth Management is being on the board of the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation. An independent charity regulated by the Charity Commission and established in 1992 by St. James’s Place Wealth Management to reflect the philanthropic interests of the business and the wider St. James’s Place community.

The St. James’s Charitable Foundation has agreed to triple any funds raised to support the Ukraine Crisis. These funds will be collected through Cathedral Wealth Management via the Just Giving page HERE these funds will go direct to The British Red Cross via the St. James’s Place Foundation… so every £100 you donate will become £300 for the Ukraine Crisis.

This allows MORE money to be sent direct to those who desperately need help. For more information or to donate, either click the link HERE or contact emma.shepherd@sjpp.co.uk
