The impact of cancer can be devastating. Not only from a physical perspective with the harsh treatment and the impact this has on the body. But also from the mental impact, as many victims experience anger, fear, stress, and depression. This can often be traumatic for close family and friends who often can only watch.
There are some amazing charities in the UK, raising funds to constantly develop the treatment given, and to ultimately find a cure. One charity very close to our hearts at Cathedral Wealth Management is Cancerwise based in Chichester, who solely rely on goodwill donations to keep the centre open.
So, what do Cancerwise do?
Cancerwise is a drop-in clinic providing support services for people (and their families) diagnosed with cancer. They offer a variety of complementary therapies, counselling, specialist support groups and exercise classes to help people to live well on a day-to-day basis. They offer practical, emotional and social support to help patients through diagnosis, treatment and beyond!
Cathedral Wealth Management have called upon the resources of St James’s Place Charitable Foundation, which is an independent charity regulated by the Charity Commission and established in 1992 by St. James’s Place Wealth Management to reflect the philanthropic interests of the business and the wider St. James’s Place community.
Our director, Brad Ainsworth, is on the board of the Foundation, and after applying for a grant has managed to donate £2,500 to this wonderful cause.
