The cost-of-living crises is hitting families all over the UK. Many families are struggling to make ends meet. The volume of families accessing foodbanks and other community initiatives are at an all-time high. For example, In the last 18 Months over 115,000 three-day emergency food parcels were handed out to local authorities in Sussex by the Trussell Trust; one of many Food Banks in the local Sussex area. Throughout the summer holidays, children cannot get access to free school meals, this is when families will hurt the most.
The local Food Banks, such as Selsey Food Bank and Petworth Food Bank are in desperate need of donations, along with help from the community for Food Bank volunteers.
When V2 Radio launched their ‘Tonnes of Tins’ appeal, the team at Cathedral Wealth Management felt compelled to help.
Cathedral Wealth Management have purchased £100 worth of ‘Tonnes of Tins’ to help support this campaign. If you can help in anyway at all, even adding 1 tin of beans to your shopping list, this will provide much needed help to a deserving family.
V2 Radio have selected a few Food Banks across the county, including Trussell Trust & Independent food banks, to benefit from the Tonnes of Tins that are donated. Please drop your donation into any of the following Food Banks.
