What a strange year it has been for everyone, who could have predicted by April 2020 we would be in full swing of a global pandemic. These of course, are very worrying times for many people from job security, health of loved ones, and how our new future looks. I believe whatever ‘normal’ was for us, certainly won’t be the same after the UK lockdown eases.
In amongst all the doom and gloom, I can’t stop thinking of all the incredibly positive things the Covid-19 situation has brought upon us all. We have all been very resourceful, although we cannot see our family and friends, which is certainly one of the biggest issues for me, we have found ways to interact, with apps such as zoom, facetime and houseparty.
It’s so nice to see so many people are pulling together to look after the vulnerable and older members of our community and our team at Cathedral Wealth Management have been calling our more mature clients to chat and make sure they have everything they need, and in between our work we have been running errands and getting shopping for our local community.
One of the other positive moves from our local councils is to house all the rough sleepers in our cities, which is something that is also very close to my heart. When I heard that Spirit FM were launching their1. West Sussex Foodbank Appeal, I jumped at the chance to help.
Cathedral Wealth Management are proud to say we gifted £1,200 to this appeal, following the outbreak of Coronavirus foodbanks are drying up, with more and more people are visiting them.
We also had a rather exciting piece of news yesterday, for those of you who know me, you will know charity is very much at the heart of what we do. I have been accepted to join the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation board2, which means part of my role will be being in charge of grants to local charities.
Stay safe everyone,
